Luke has worked in Financial Services for many years and founded Fairview Financial in 2017 with a simple mission: to build a truly client-first mortgage advising business rooted in honesty, integrity and clarity.

While Luke is an expert in all areas of lending, he is at his best when things get a bit more "outside the box." If you’ve been told your situation is too complicated elsewhere, Luke is the person you want in your corner. He has a real passion for specialist and niche mortgages—whether you are self-employed with complex accounts, have adverse credit history, or are navigating a unique property type. He thrives on the "no stone unturned" approach, digging into the details to find solutions for clients that many other brokers might shy away from.

Luke’s analytical mind and deep knowledge of lender criteria mean he doesn’t just find you a mortgage; he finds the right mortgage, no matter how intricate your circumstances may be.

When he’s not untangling complex mortgage cases, Luke enjoys a round of golf, travelling the world, and spending quality time with his family. You’ll also often find him exploring the Cotswold countryside with Rocky, his much-loved (and very energetic) adopted terrier.

Emily Bourgeois

Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Emily is a true all-rounder with over a decade of experience in the mortgage industry. Having spent years in advisory roles for both major high-street banks and specialist brokerage firms, she knows the mortgage process inside and out—from the very first "hello" to the moment you get your keys.

What makes Emily stand out is her versatility. She’s just as happy helping a first-time buyer take those exciting initial steps as she is untangling a case for a client with complex income streams or adverse credit. She knows that life isn’t always a straight line, and she takes great pride in providing a steady hand and expert guidance for those whose circumstances don't fit into a standard "box."

Emily is known for her friendly, down-to-earth approach and her meticulous attention to detail. She takes the time to really understand each client’s circumstances and explains things clearly, so clients feel informed, supported and confident every step of the way.

Emily’s home life is just as busy as her work day! She’s kept on her toes by her two young children, her lively Spaniel, and the family cat. When she does find a quiet moment, she loves long dog walks, experimenting in the kitchen, and hosting lively dinners for her friends and family.

Rachel James

Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Rachel brings a wealth of experience and insight to the Fairview Financial team. She started her journey at a building society and quickly made a name for herself in the industry. In fact, while working for one of the UK’s largest property services groups, she made history as the youngest-ever Associate Director appointed by the company—a testament to her drive and her deep understanding of the mortgage market.

Rachel is a specialist in all areas of residential lending, but she really shines when it comes to the details of Buy to Let, Shared Ownership, and Self-Employed mortgages. She understands that these aren't just transactions; they are major life milestones. Her approach combines that high-level professional expertise with a genuine, caring touch, ensuring you feel supported from your very first inquiry to the day you move in.

Rebecca Durn

Case Manager

Every successful mortgage needs a master of the details behind the scenes, and for Fairview Financial, that’s Rebecca. With an exceptional background in mortgage administration, she is the person who keeps the wheels turning and ensures every application is "audit-ready" from day one.

If there’s a spreadsheet involved, Rebecca is in her element. She is famously efficient and has become our absolute go-to expert for all things mortgage compliance. Kelly Carpenter

Case Manager

Kelly joins Fairview Financial with over a decade of deep-rooted experience at a major banking group, bringing a wealth of technical expertise to the team. With an extensive background in analyst roles and mortgage fraud prevention, she has a fantastic eye for detail and a natural instinct for spotting the "fine print".

As a Case Manager, Kelly is dedicated to supporting our advisers and guiding clients through their mortgage journey from start to finish. She is a proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every application is handled efficiently and every deadline is met with ease. Her goal is to make the administrative side of the journey feel seamless, using her proactive approach to keep everything running like clockwork.

Outside of the office, Kelly likes to stay active at her local gym and loves hitting the pavement for a run. She is a keen traveller who is always looking for her next adventure and enjoys getting lost in a good book. Above all, she treasures relaxing and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Claudia Duman

Operations Director

Claudia has been at the heart of Fairview Financial since day one. Working alongside her partner, Luke, she helped build the company from the ground up, and today she’s the driving force that keeps our day-to-day operations running like clockwork.

If there’s a way to make things faster, smoother, or more efficient for our clients, Claudia will find it. She has a real passion for streamlining the "behind-the-scenes" tech and automation, but she has one golden rule: efficiency must never come at the expense of the personal touch. For Claudia, the ultimate goal is ensuring that every client feels supported and every member of the team has exactly what they need to deliver 5-star service.

She is the glue that holds the office together, ensuring that as Fairview grows, we never lose that friendly, family-run feel that our clients love.

When she’s not refining our business processes, Claudia is often found in the garden or the kitchen - her friends and family can vouch for the fact that her home-baked treats are second to none! She’s also a talented amateur photographer with a particular eye for architecture, a hobby she loves to indulge in whenever she’s travelling.

Rocky

Chief Happiness Officer & Head of Barketing

Rocky may lack formal financial qualifications, but he is easily the most enthusiastic member of the Fairview team. As our Chief Happiness Officer, he is responsible for maintaining office morale, managing "biscuit security," and providing mandatory head-scratching breaks for anyone staring at a computer screen for too long. He’s an absolute expert in treat-based lending and specialises in high-energy greetings for every visitor.

While he hasn’t quite mastered the difference between a fixed and tracker rate, Rocky leads by example when it comes to work-life balance—usually by demonstrating the perfect strategic nap under Luke’s desk. When he’s not "working," he can be found exploring the Cotswold countryside, chasing tennis balls (with varying levels of success), and trying to convince the team that he definitely hasn't had his lunch yet.

Our Fees

A fee may be charged for mortgage advice. The exact amount will depend on your circumstances.

Our standard fee for mortgages is £395 and this is paid when the mortgage is offered. We charge a fee of £295 First-Time Buyers. Other fees may apply depending on the complexity of the work involved or loan amount. The maximum fee we can charge is £795.

Our standard fee for Equity Release is £895 and this is paid on completion.

We also receive a commission from the lender that will vary depending on the lender, product or other permissible factors. The nature of any commission model will be confirmed to you before you proceed. If we receive a commission, this will not affect the cost payable by you.
